RINOs Sabotage Virginia Governor's Race

The Independent Journal Review and the Blaze both have articles on how the RINOs sabotaged  Republican Ken Cuccinelli’s race against Democrat Terry McAuliffe. They preferred a Democrat winning to a Tea Party conservative winning.

The Independent Journal Review reports that "[t]he Republican National Committee spent three times as much in 2009 on the same race as they did this year"; and that "[t]he Chamber of Commerce spent one million dollars in the last Governor’s race, and not one dime on Cuccinelli." The Blaze reports that Mark Levin challenges the former estimate, contending that the RNC didn't even spend $3 million. On top of that, an Obama "bundler" financed a "Libertarian" candidate--Sarvis--to steal votes from Cuccinelli.

The race was close: McAuliffe barely edged out Cuccinelli. If the votes Sarvis had bled off had gone to Cuccinelli instead, Cucinelli would have won. Interestingly, Cuccinelli as more popular among independents than McAuliffe.
