Nat'l Security Letters Unconstitutional?

A federal judge has ruled that the FBI's rampant use of national security letters (NSLs) with non-disclosure orders violate the Constitution. NSLs are authorized by the so-called Patriot Act to allow the FBI and other agencies to spy on Americans' telecom records. The non-disclosure orders prevent a telecom company from informing the subject (victim) of the government's request.
