U.S. Votes in Favor of Arms Treaty

The election had nothing to do with the timing of this (wink, wink, nudge, nudge). The U.S. mission to the U.N. has voted to advance the small arms treaty. You might remember that this is a treaty enjoying widespread support by dictators and tyrants because it would make it more difficult to ship arms to anyone that might try and oppose their rule. Liberals like it because it could be a backdoor method to restrict gun sales in the U.S. I'll admit that I haven't read the text of the treaty, but my concern is for those of us that like to purchase foreign made firearms, ammunition, or parts. (Glock anyone? Wolf ammo?). I'm sure it won't stop the U.S. from arming drug cartels either through direct sales by the ATF, or indirectly through arms sales to Mexican police and military.
