Did Some Voters Cut Off Their Nose to Spite Their Face?
This is disturbing, if true. Charlie Martin, at the PJ Tatler, wonders if Romney's "Mormonism" ended up hurting him at the polls. Martin was intrigued by statistics showing that, even though more people self-identify as Republicans now, 14 million less Republicans turned out for the election. Although anecdotal, plenty of the comments seem to support that it had some impact. Strangely, my impression was that it was not the evangelicals that objected, but the more "mainstream" religions. My question is: if they think that Romney was not Christian, do they think that Obama is?
