The Daily Mail Sucks Up to Envirowackos

The Daily Mail ludicrously calls Daryl Hannah brave. From an article on the has-been actress:
With her hand bravely outstretched to halt the massive bulldozer, this picture was taken moments before Daryl Hannah was arrested in northeast Texas on Thursday as she protested an oil pipeline designed to bring crude from Canada to the Gulf Coast.

With no regard for her safety the Kill Bill star stood in front of heavy equipment in an attempt to halt construction of the Keystone XL pipeline in Winnsboro, a town about 100 miles east of Dallas.
If there was some reasonable doubt that the shovel operator (apparently reporters don't learn the difference between types of heavy equipment) might run her down or otherwise try to kill her, perhaps her actions would have been "brave." But, in reality, she was no more brave than someone using a crosswalk. Somebody send the Mail a dictionary.

Oh, and she obviously hates poor people if she is trying to halt something that could provide jobs and lower gas prices. What a jerk.
